Faculty and Staff
All CCA staff members work as a team to create an optimal learning environment that promotes the development of life-long learning skills for the entire community. This is actualized through ongoing professional development training and by building a culture that encourages peer observation and review among staff, team teaching, and active learning. Of the staff of 27, nine are faculty members, 3 are counselors, 4 are administrative staff, and 9 are support staff . The consistency and commitment of the faculty is a critical factor in student success and they derive a great deal of satisfaction in helping their students to succeed. CCA has a diverse staff that is 70% African American, 22% white, 4% Indian, and 4% Persian. Of that number 70% are female and 30% are male. 18% live in the community.
