CCA Students Win First Place at Film Festival
CCA’s film student-created film Love and Abuse won first place in the Issue of Urgent Concern category at the Chicago Youth Community Film Festival. Festival judges called the film well-shot, well-written, well-acted and important. The film addresses domestic and dating violence among high school-aged students. A fictitious couple is depicted in the film among domestic violence statistics. At the end, the number to the domestic violence hotline was given.
